QUINCY BRANCH TO HOLD FREE COMMUNITY SHRED DAY

South Coastal Bank will host a Community Shred Day on Saturday, May 19th, 2012, from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of its Quincy branch located at 77 Granite Street. A shredding truck will be on-site to shred personal papers and other confidential documents free of charge. All post-shredded material will be recycled.

Some suggested documents that should be shredded include:

• Bank information
• Canceled or blank checks
• Credit card offers/information
• Financial statements
• Income tax records
• Insurance coverage
• Investment information
• Legal papers
• Medical records
• Personal bills

Material with paperclips and staples are permitted, but three-ring binders and binder clips cannot go through the shredder.

This free event is open to all residents in the community. Representatives will be on hand to provide assistance with unloading boxes.
